Warning the public is a two step process: Alert and Inform.
When activated, the VA-2000 will sound a piercing alert tone, flash a high intensity LED and display one of up to 60 pre-programmed messages on its easy to read display. A message will remain on the VA-2000 until reset.
Whelen’s VA-2000 provides instant information that defines the emergency condition and prompts the correct response, eliminating confusion and saving lives.

OPTIONS:

• VA2BATT: Sealed gell cell battery and battery charger. Option provides up to 24 hours of standby capacity in the event of power failure. In the event of activation, display remains active, display backlight and LED alert indicator extinguish 3 minutes following activation.
• VA2MTG: Mounting bracket for under cabinet or vehicle mounting
• VA2PROG: Factory programming of VA2000 display messages.
